While the renovation to make the room more sleek and modern was nice, the bed and pillows were garbage. The bed was too hard, and the pillows collapsed within 5 minutes of of laying on them. It made it incredibly difficult to get any kind of sleep. The water in the showers kept running cold every 30 seconds, making a hot shower impossible. But it was affordable, and right in the middle of everywhere we needed to be, which was nice. So, over all, 3/5 stars.
Pleasant stay. Courteous staff, clean room, good breakfast made for a nice visit. I would definitely stay again if the need arose. Thanks.
You rooms more extremely clean and newly remodeled they didn't have a funny smell. They had a buffet breakfast that included not only cereals and yogurt to also hot breakfast eggs sausage tater tots biscuits and gravy excetera pastries you name it. The staff was extremely friendly great hospitality. The room I was in came with a single cup coffee maker tissues table and 2 chairs dance clubs in a rolling chair shampoos conditioners excetera they actually have a hand dispenser in the shower. And conditioner and body wash flat screen TV alarm clock mini fridge the works. It is literally the best hotel in Jacksonville over and Beyond the best I would say. Definitely will always be first pick in my book.
The second floor rooms in this motel has a very bad odor that is probably from their being smoking rooms many years ago. The first floor rooms were fine. The staff we encountered were all very nice and helpful.
