I've had some issues there, but also had some really great experiences with workers that genuinely care about fixing your problems. Especially lately! Jacksonville DHS has really stepped up their game. Today I spoke in particular to a woman named Kimberly, who handled an urgent problem I was having with my Medicaid case. She was so polite, professional, and handled it within minutes.
So slow and depending in who's at the desk, they can be rude. They make you sign in and wait for more than 20 minutes just to ask a simple question. That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever had to do at this office. I could have asked the question and had the appropriate forms filled out by the time they made me wait to ask this question. Then they have the audacity to talk about people behind the glass. Pathetic!
These people who work here suck! They never answer the phone and if you have to be transferred and leave a message, best believe you will NOT get a call back! I signed up for Medicaid well over a year ago and still haven't heard anything back. It's a damn shame I have to call the Medicaid help line just to get answers. PLEASE EITHER FIRE THE PEOPLE WHO WORK HERE OR SHUT IT DOWN!! HATE DEALING WITH SORRY ASS PEOPLE!! Worst place I've ever been to.......
they didn't not let me know for 6 months I was accepted for the EBT program but back paid me in full once the new case worker was back logging all the files. they always have been very helpful. cant always get someone to answer the phone so learn your case worker's ext. helps a lot. ive never had a problem other than that. you cant be lazy and just let them do it for you.. you have to be proactive about your case.
I wish there was a zero. That's just what they need. I went to get my baby's ARkids number,. I had to sign in and sit what seemed like forever. This place is not resourceful at all. No one knows anything.
