I went for an oil change at Gwatney. Pulled up to the oil center.bit was about seven workers in that department. Not one asked if they could help. I had to get out my car and as I approached the counter not one associate as if I could be helped.. customer service there is terrible!!. I asked for a manager and when he came and talked to me. One of his excuses were "they don't really like to service Chrysler's if I had a Chevy they would have been running you over"... No wonder the associates act unprofessional the boss is too
I had a good experience until I discovered my truck was scratched while in their care. The waiting room was pleasant, Mr. Gwatney came by and greeted everyone, I also had a great talk about classic cars with one of the service guys. Of course, they denied they were at-fault and they claimed the cameras would not show what happened 6 or 7 days back. I alerted them about the scratches the next day and received a cell phone number to text the photos to on the following day. Why didn't they look at the camera day 2 or day 3?Bottom line, I will not go back to Jacksonville's Gwatney Chevrolet.
I have purchased 8 vehicles from Gwatney now ... the sales staff has NEVER pressured me and have worked hard to please my selectiveness. The sales manager James is especially determined to do whatever it takes to earn their business ... that's why I continue to return and always will! The service department is an added bonus especially after trying a couple of other dealerships service departments.
Gwatney made our buying experience so simple! Shane was a great salesman that was didn't use any pressure, talked us through the whole experience, and did a great job answering all questions. Would highly recommend this place to everyone!
